Step-by-Step Instructions
Start by placing the flange over the hole in the floor where the toilet will be installed. Use the mounting bolts to attach the flange to the floor and make sure it is securely fastened. Next, place the washers, nuts, and hex wrench onto the mounting bolts.Using a drill, pre-drill holes around the flange so you will be able to attach the toilet. Insert the mounting bolts through the holes and use the hex wrench to tighten them securely. Place the toilet over the bolts and gently lower it until it is in place.
Using a hammer, tap the toilet into place and make sure it is level before securing it with the nuts and washers. Finally, fill in any gaps around the toilet with caulk to ensure that the seal is watertight.
